Prayer Letter March April 2013

Next couple of Months

I hope everyone is doing well. This will be a different Prayer letter this time around. The update will be for March, April, May & June. We are very busy and I am afraid I won't have time to write the next family update. Thank you for your understanding.

On the Road

Spring is here! I am glad to see the long winter go. In February we went south to Florida where it was 80 degrees then up north to Michigan, New York, and Alaska where it was much colder and snowing. We have been in ten different states in just a few months.

Moving!

We are getting ready for our big moving sale. It is amazing to see that we do not have long here. You really start feeling the butterflies in your stomach and can not wait to to start another phase of our work.  We will be leaving our home In Ohio in Mid-July and heading to Bowie, Texas to Baptist Bible Translators Institute (B.B.T.I.). There we will be learning linguistics, culture, Bible translation work, and many other specialized missionary helps. This will help prepare us for the future.  We want to give our best in everything we do for the Lord.

Central Asia

As some of you have seen in the news about the Boston bombings and the two men were from Russia and their passports were from Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan. Also, two more young men were arrested with the bombing that were from Kazakhstan, with one young lady from the United States.  Yes, I know about this area of the world very well. Yes, we will still be heading to the foreign mission field no matter what is going on in this area of the world and will be trying to reach the souls there with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Islam faith is growing very quickly and we do not have much time here on earth left. We should all be busy in the Lord's work.  We will probably continue to see things like this in the future from this area of the world as we have in the past. Please pray for us and others working within the ten-Forty window. We need everyone's help and prayers to reach the unreached.  I have been in contact with some Chinese men. They are praying about helping us in the area and the countries around us. We are very excited about this. The Chinese know a lot about the government ideas, regions, and how to get things done with the gospel.  I have also been in contact with a Medical Missions team here in the United States. They are very interested in joining us in Central Asia and helping with some Medical clinics for a couple of weeks, I will contact our doctor overseas to see what he would like to do with this adventure.

Family

We are all doing well. The children all received their well check-ups this last month. Everything looks great! Praise the Lord! We are looking forward to moving to Texas for the specialized schooling and then getting back to our work overseas next year. We are very blessed.  Keep praying for us as we continue to keep praying for you all.
